WRA Italy Tour 2010 Flight Information

Dear travelers, below you will find flight information for your tour to Italy. You will notice that you travel in two groups from Cleveland to Chicago and back, but not to worry you will be on the same flight(s) when flying to Europe! Enjoy your experience!!

Group A (16 Passengers)

Wednesday, March 17, 2010: Fly out of CLE (Cleveland) leaving at 1:37 pm aboard United Airlines flight UA 7075 arriving ORD (Chicago) at 2:05 pm. Leave ORD on Lufthansa flight LH 431 at 4:40 pm and arrive at 7:00 am in FRA. Please note, you are plus one day with the time change when arriving at FRA (Frankfurt, Germany).
Thursday, March 18: You will leave FRA on Lufthansa flight LH 4082 at 8:10 am and arrive at VCE (Venice, Italy) at 9:25 am. *When you arrive in Frankfurt you will have to go through immigration and show your passport for entry into the European Union, but you DO NOT NEED to get your bags for inspection as they continue on to your final destination where you clear customs.*

Group B (28 Passengers)
Wednesday, March 17 fly out of CLE leaving at 3:05 pm aboard United Airlines flight UA 6208 arriving ORD at 3:44 pm. Leave ORD on Lufthansa flight LH431 at 4:40 pm and arrive at 7:00 am FRA. Please note, you are plus one day with the time change when arriving at FRA (Frankfurt, Germany). Thursday, March 18 You will leave FRA on Lufthansa flight LH4082 at 8:10 am and arrive Venice, Italy (VCE) at 9:25 am. *When you arrive in Frankfurt you will have to go through immigration and show your passport for entry into the European Union, but you DO NOT NEED to get your bags for inspection as they continue on to your final destination where you clear customs.*

Group A
Sunday, March 28 fly out of FCO (Rome) leaving at 6:45am aboard Lufthansa flight LH 3853 arriving FRA at 8:45am. Leave FRA on Lufthansa flight LH430 at 10:36am arriving in Chicago (ORD) at 12:30p. Please note, you will be going through US Customs as ORD is your US entry point. You will be leaving ORD at 4:50pm aboard United Airlines flight UA 7328 arriving at 7:05pm CLE.

Group B
Sunday, March 28 fly out of FCO (Rome) leaving at 6:45am aboard Lufthansa flight LH 3853 arriving FRA at 8:45am. Leave FRA on Lufthansa flight LH 430 at 10:36am arriving in Chicago (ORD) at 12:30pm. Please note, you will be going through US Customs as ORD is your US entry point.
You will be leaving ORD at 3:55 pm aboard United Airlines UA flight 5906 and arriving at 6:13 pm CLE.

"There are at least four essential ingredients for a successful and rewarding concert tour for young people and their sponsors —appropriate concert settings, advance publicity, opportunities for learning about the areas visited (including exchanges with the local youth), and good logistical planning. The recent tour of the Akron, Ohio Summit Children's Touring Choir through Germany, the Czech Republic and Austria was successful indeed. The venues were most impressive and beautiful. The publicity produced large responsive and appreciative crowds as well as mayor’s receptions with recital opportunities at city halls. The knowledgeable tour guides and the visits with local youth and choirs provided an experience for the choir members that will not be soon forgotten.
